I just love that science is catching up with what we as individuals have believed and practised long before research proved the validity of what we do to maintain our health and wellbeing.  As a Kinesiologist for nearly 30 years I have always encouraged my clients and students to use common sense and tune into their own body and how it responds as the source of insight of how to care for recovery and maintenance of their body.  Today science is telling us we are not victims of our genetics, that what we think and eat and do and how we live all influence how healthy we remain, even when there is a family history of health weakness.    It is exciting to me that physical, mental, emotional, spiritual health is possible no matter what our beginnings.
